Physical Therapy
What is pediatric physical therapy?
Pediatric physical therapy—also known as children’s physical therapy—helps kids build strength, improve motor skills, and overcome challenges with movement or development. Whether your child is an infant, toddler, or teen, our therapists use evidence‑based strategies to support independence and confidence.

If you’ve ever wondered “What does a pediatric physical therapist do?,” they work to improve posture, balance, mobility, coordination, functional strength that may be hindering development and the ability to participate in daily activities. We use age-appropriate techniques, exercises, and play-based interventions that are both fun and effective.
We use a variety of techniques:
Strength training
Kinesiology taping
Orthotic evaluation and fabrication
Motor skill development
Stretching

Gait training
Postural and balance training
Family and Caregiver education
Collaboration with Schools
Muscle strengthening
Manual Therapy

Baby & Infant Therapy
For newborns and young infants, we provide specialized baby physio, infant PT, newborn physical therapy, and infant physical therapy. These services are appropriate for concerns like torticollis neck tightening, delayed rolling or crawling, muscle weakness, limited range of motion, abnormal walking gait, balance, orthopedic conditions or general motor delays. Our play‑based methods help babies build strength and reach key developmental milestones while giving parents and caregivers the tools to support their infant’s development.
Early Childhood Support Makes a Big Difference
Early intervention is strongly supported by pediatric therapy research. By addressing delayed milestones and concerns as early as possible through baby physical therapy and early children’s PT, we help infants, toddlers, and young children build a strong foundation for balance, coordination, and mobility.
Encouraging Independence Through Movement
As your child grows, pediatric PT—or kids physical therapy—supports confidence and independence. We design plans tailored to your child’s needs, helping them move more easily, keep up with peers, and develop lifelong strength.
