How can I schedule an appointment? Contact our office today at 918-214-8028 to schedule an evaluation with our lead physical therapist. Based on the evaluation, we can assist in obtaining a referral for treatment from your primary care physician if needed. We are dedicated to helping your children Move Strong and ensuring they receive the best care possible!
How long do therapy appointments usually last? Physical therapy appointments are 40 minutes, and speech therapy appointments are 30 minutes.
Do I need a referral from my child's primary care physician to start physical therapy? Our physical therapist has direct access, so you can schedule an appointment by calling our office directly. If treatment is deemed necessary, we can assist in obtaining a referral. We also accept referrals from primary care physicians and can schedule appointments through that process as well.
Do I need a referral from my child's primary care physician to start speech therapy? Yes! Please have your primary care physician send over a speech therapy evaluation referral before we can begin treatment.
What should my child wear to physical therapy? Athletic clothing is encouraged, and closed toed shoes are required! We have free weights all throughout the clinic, so it is crucial that protective footwear is worn!
How can I support my child's progress at home with either speech or physical therapy? To support your child's progress at home with speech or physical therapy, open communication with your child's therapist is essential. Be sure to ask any questions you may have regarding your child's treatment plan. Our therapists will provide a detailed list of recommended activities or exercises to reinforce progress at home. It's important to consistently follow through with these activities and reach out to the office if you have any concerns or need further guidance. We are here to support both you and your child throughout the therapy process!
What should my child wear to their orthotic casting appointment? Make sure that your child is wearing shorts! Also, have them bring tennis shoes and a pair of socks!
